The many antique shops of historic Rosenberg provide a delightful day of treasure hunting. Whether you are looking for a Victorian dining room set, mid-century dishes, or chalk-painted buffet, there are pieces to delight and inspire any shopper.
Some of my personal favorites include:
Red Queen’s Attic : A huge store with over 16,000 sf of not only antiques, but local artisan crafts, home decor, boutique items, an outdoor garden shop, and a fabulous jewelry collection.
Portilla Home & Garden : Here, antique furniture is given new life. Many of the stunning pieces in the spacious showroom have been chalk painted or re-finished and are ready to grace your home. This shop also includes a garden shop with creative pre-planted pots, including the hanging fern pictured here.
Roots & Relics Antiques & Garden : Another shop with a great variety from chalk painted furniture, to local artisan pieces, to seasonal decor, you are sure to find something to your liking.
Vogelsang Antique Emporium : Housed in an iconic Rosenberg historic building and neighboring the Ol Railroad Cafe, this is perfect shop to visit when you are ready for a lunch break.
A pleasant place to walk, shop, and dine local, historic Rosenberg is worth a visit. Happy hunting!
