A Fort Bend favorite in Historic Downtown Richmond, Sandy McGee’s restaurant has been serving café comfort food for 35 years.
On a recent return visit I had the delight to sample all of my favorites (sharing is caring). The Max Out sandwich is a genius combination of turkey & melted swiss topped with their amazing spinach salad, which is a blend of spinach, mushrooms, bacon, red onion and parmesan dressed in honey mustard vinaigrette. Is your mouth watering yet? Their other irresistible menu items include their legendary broccoli cheese soup, house specialty chicken salad, and any dessert. Don’t forget to sample their magical toast rounds, just don’t fill up on them before your meal comes!
Sandy McGee’s Restaurant & Bar is open for dining in, take-out, and catering. You can order whole pies or cakes for special occasions. My 91 year old dad loves when I bring him a Sandy McGee’s coconut cream pie all the way out to N.E. Texas.
